本实验证实IL17在感染衣原体后在固有性免疫反应应答早期短暂表达，随后很快下降，但其他细胞因子IL6,IL8,TNFα,IL1α,IL1β则分别在第3天或第8天出现高峰，基于这些资料我们认为IL17在衣原体肺炎早期出现，能提高局部IL6,IL8,TNFα,IL1α,IL1β的表达，表明IL17具有抗衣原体感染的免疫保护作用，进一步阐释了宿主感染衣原体后的免疫防御机制,对今后预防以及干预治疗衣原体感染性疾病提供了理论依据。
