本实验中,COX-2 mRNA和蛋白在宫颈病变各组表达均升高,但两者表达不完全一致(r=0.135,P=0.68)。这种差异是否与这一稳定因子有关尚待进一步研究。
COX-2蛋白表达增高可能是细胞生物学行为改变的早期事件。COX-2通过调节宫颈局部免疫,影响细胞增殖,促进一个更利于细胞恶变的环境产生,促使宫颈由慢性宫颈炎向CIN和SCC转变。COX-2在宫颈癌早期发生阶段起着重要作用,这为预防宫颈癌提供了新的思路。
